    Description

Very good  brown leather holster for the British Army .455 Cal. Webley Service Revolver. The holster is dated 1917 and maker named to RW Stiby. Light sign of a bulge on the holster from the revolver cylinder. Reverse side has a leather pass thru for the Sam Browne belt as well as a solid brass "D" ring for a shoulder strap or brace if required. Some marring to leather along the sewn edge of the holster but will cover with polish. Cover to holster is secured by a leather strap to a sold brass stud. This holster model is shown in the 1900 Dress Regulations. Prior owner to some care of it as it looks looks like he used leather cleaner and preservative
    on it.
    This is an original piece.
